Jeg har fått noen nye biter av puslespillet om historien på bilen fra Stefano:

"Your car was registered first time on 02/01/1976 and had a different plate, BS506250, I think this is the first plate.
As I wrote in Consortium forum, years ago, when a car was sold from first owner to somebody living in other district (provincia), was mandatory to re-register car with other plate, related to new location.
So previous plate of your car indicate that the first owner was living in Brescia district (BS), northern Lombardy, 150 Km far from Como.
It seems that on 31/05/2005 your car was sold to Auto Classic, and on 03/12/2010 the company did a request of radiation for export to PRA.
I have no notice about the passage from first owner to second.
For sure, your car in Italy had 2 previous owners before coming to Auto Classic."

Her er den gamle traversen ute og man ser at "larva" har holdt tingene sammen.... At den ser ut som en eller annen kjønnsykdom er en annen sak! :mrgreen:

Forrige eier syns at gardenaforinger gjorde susen, fem rattar for oppfinnsomhet!.... :lol: Heldigvis har jeg en nyprodusert travers liggende på lager med ny polyuretanforing for gearoverføringen.

Gammel og ny for sammenligning.

"Hi Roar, now we have got other information about your car with first plate BS506250.
In December 1975 Mr. Angelo Chizzolini from Brescia signed the purchase contract for the Montecarlo, and in first days of January 1976 he came out from the dealer driving his new car.
In September 1977, he sold the car to Mr. Mario Silva and Giuseppe Ariazzi living in Alfianello, a place near Brescia. In June 1978 the car was bought by Giovanni Forleo living in Florence (could be a dealer, because the plate did not change ...). In July 1980, your car returns near Brescia, in Verolanuova, purchased by Mr. Giuseppe Biraghini: then you know the story, in November 1985 it was purchased by Giorgio Mondelli form Como, and had the new plate.

Ombygging av pedalboks til justerbar 037 type.

sylinderne måtte flyttes noen cm tilbake , her er det borret nye festehull.

Her er det skjært nytt hull for å gjøre plass til ekstra bremserør og ny plassering.

Plastforinger er byttet ut med messing, ser og føles littmere seriøst dette...

Nå er det bare å lakkere boksen og vente på ny clutchsylinder, så er det remontering.

Mens jeg ventet på clutchsylinder tok jeg tak i overflaterust i gulvet.

Blanke messingen. :)

Smurte på Owatrol og lot det tørke i ett par tre uker.

Clutchsylinder ankommet og montert.

Nye bremserør trekkes og laget/montert brakett til ekstra bremsekurs.

Så venter vi på deler fra tåkeholmen igjen.... Derfor prøvde jeg meg på å bytte foringer påmotorfestene.

To av foringene gikk greit selv om de satt somm ett he...ete!

Støpejernsfestet gikk ikke så bra....

Hørte bare ett høyt smell...

Noen som vet om det går an å sveise støpejern..?

Ja, med skikkelig forvarming så går det .


Sveiseren som jeg brukte sa at temperatur var veldig viktig , og de hadde spesielt utstyr til dette formålet.

Jeg fikk sveiset huset på en kjølevannspumpe til båten påsveiseverkstedet til Elkem . Usikker helt på hvordan de gjorde det , men han som skulle sveise snakket om viktigeheten av å varme delene før sveising . Uten dette så kunne en risikere å ødelegge delen helt.

Hør med et sveiseverksted .
