Gratulerer med en konkurransedyktig bil! Kjipt med remhjulet.. Skal registerhavari kunne foregå uten ventilsalat på orginal motor? Krysser fingrene for at det ikke er fullt havari, og at dere er tilbake til St.Hans.

Ja, ja, ja da er galskapen avdekket:





Pilene viser hvor det har vært kontakt..... ved bortimot 7000 rpm. Dette er de synlige skadene, bunndelen snurrer pent, ikke noe ulyder, lugging, skraping av noe slag når jeg dreier rundt.

Så da er spørgesmålet: - Hva nu? Går vi på med krum hals og bytter alle ventiler og styringer og håper på det gjør susen?

Eller; - Noen som har en 1242 til overs???

Men da har vi lært noe nytt, en 1242 med 0.8 mm høvla topp tåler ikke å miste nedre reimhjul....

Tror ikke det blir noe St.Hans ræs på Scuderia Toten.. :(

Jeg hadde bare byttet ventiler og satt motoren sammen igjen. Ventilstyringene ser du vel eventuelt om har tatt skade når du har fjernet ventilene, men med mindre det er sprekker i dem så er det vel ikke nødvendig å bytte dem.

Har konferert med ePER og Dr. FIRE, vi er enig om at ventilene på 1108 og 1242 er like. Så da blir det litt kvalitetstid i garasjen med mitt nye puslespill.

Hmm, kommer til å bli hard påkjenning på festene til gjengestengene dersom dere bruker curbsen aktivt. Ryker godset der disse er festet så spretter fjæra ut og da kan det bli moro. Hva er galt med tradisjonell drop-stop med wire eller bånd?

Toppen satt sammen igjen med "nye" ventiler fra veslebror 1108. Ser ut som det skal gå bra det. Bare få målt klaringer og evt. Shimset om litt så er den klar.

Hvem var det som hadde assortert utvalg av shims til disse??

Jeg trenger en stor tom trekasse til lagring av noen Marna-deler. Så hoster du opp en ammokasse så kan du få plukke i shims-skrinet. :lol:
